About The Project
This project involved the creation of a multi-page layout that showcased my ability to work with type and images, use a grid, develop type to serve different needs (i.e. headline vs. photo caption) & establish rhythm and pacing.
My Role
I was tasked with designing a magazine from scratch which included conducting research on the publication’s topic, naming the magazine & curating the contents.
This was done in several phases including cover & logo, table of contents, department spread & feature article.
A combination of original photography & stock photography were used. I also developed additional graphics & iconography.
