A Guerrilla Marketing Campaign to raise awareness about TNR.
Morgantown Cat Army is a student based organization I began in 2012, comprised of volunteers with an interest in reducing the cat overpopulation problem and the unnecessary suffering it causes. MCA focused on bringing together the city and local animal advocates to work together in organizing a “Big Fix,” a volunteer-based clinic that would spay/neuter and vaccinate unowned cats in the area over one weekend, twice a year at no cost to caretakers.
Guerrilla Marketing is an advertising strategy that focuses on low-cost unconventional marketing tactics that yield maximum results.
In order to get students interested in learning more about TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) and the importance of spaying/neutering their pets, we developed a slogan that was hard for them to miss. These marketing items were a huge hit across campus, giving us lots of free advertising for our campaign.
